Since 1870 six generations of the Robie family have worked this 150-acre farm on the pastoral banks of the Connecticut River in Piermont, New Hampshire with the White Mountains of New Hampshire on the eastern horizon and the Green Mountains of Vermont on the west.   Current owners Lee and Betty Sue have been running the dairy operation for 30 years.  Along with their son Mark, 
Cheese-maker and Farm Manager and Jonathan Flocke, Sales Manager, the Robie Farm continues its century long tradition of quality milk production, superior herd care and sustainable land management practices. 


As small family farms dwindle in number, farms such as ours are an increasing rarity.  We recognize our responsibility to the planet and are actively working to reduce our ecological footprint.  Sustainability and conservation are very important to us and our ecological footprint is involved in all of the decisions we make on the farm.  Staying small is part of our goal.  From separating and either reusing or recycling all of the materials on the farm to working with the state of New Hampshire to insure proper flood plain maintenance, we are doing our part to reduce our impact on a stressed environment.

In order to “survive” we have diversified the farm's operations and are now able to provide a wide range of products that are produced both here on our farm and on other farms in our area that maintain the same high-quality standards that we keep here on the Robie Farm.  We have partnered with local meat processors and Upper Valley Produce in order to maintain a supply of quality, all-natural meats to keep up with the growing demand.
