THE LAND
Wooded hillsides and green fields descend to the flood plain and shores of the Connecticut River on Robie Farm’s breathtaking 150 acres of pasture and forest land. The soil is a rich sandy loam and the farm is situated on an estuary; a result of the confluence of the Connecticut River and Been Brook. The land supports a variety of wild animals as well as the domestic farm animals. Preserved marginal and wetlands, perennially untilled pasture and an astounding diversity of plant life are just part of the treasures you will witness at Robie Farm.
